Wind City The Passing - Part 3The darkness enveloped Delacore like a cloak, hiding his features from the cold lamp lit air. This was not the way he liked to work but times were difficult and a man in his field had to take every opportunity he could. There was a noise, like scratching on the cobbles, looking up he scoured the darkness for movement his eyes darted back and forth across the light and shadows as they danced over the walls in the dim light of the dank street. Silently he waited and watched, was it a rat or a cat scurrying across the street or was it that damn half-child Mookane, watching him silently from the shadows. Curiosity, entices, envelopes and devours them all eventually. Whether it was by word of mouth or overheard whispers, the secret was divulged and disseminated, flowing like a river through the minds of the population. No one who heard it was left untouched by the secret, no level of society from the rough gutter snipes in the dank cellars and passages of the Underside to the rich society elite whose functions and parties buzzed with intrigue and gossip from the eminent Doctors and physicians who basked in their self indulgent glory.

My name is Andy Quick and I am a multi disciplined designer from the UK specialising in Educational Multimedia, Web design and illustration.

Heavens - don't tell me you're still using your steam-powered typewriter ... and sending them in by snail-mail? I have to say that I do pity stamp-collectors - I don't think stamps are going to be around for too much longer - glue is so anti-environmental!
